4-year fully funded PhD position at KU Leuven developing real-time LES-based model predictive control for wind-farm and atmosphere interaction using HPC, Fortran/Python, optimization, and turbulence modeling. Work with a world-class fluid mechanics and turbulence team. Limited teaching responsibilities. Ideal for candidates with a strong background in fluid dynamics or control engineering.
